HIAB Warranty & Service Contracts

If you have taken a service contract with HIAB upon purchase of a new crane, you should be entitled to both minor and major services each year. You should check your manual for more details on this.

Minor services include checking oil levels, re-greasing and inspecting for damaged / faulty parts. The major service includes all of the previously mentioned alongside changing the oil bath. (if applicable).

As an HIAB service centre, Cooper HIAB are able to examine and service your HIAB crane giving you the assurance that your equipment will be checked and repaired by qualified HIAB agents, we are annually audited and our quality and commitment to our customers are second to none.

Our staff training is always kept up to date ensuring the highest quality service around.

Cooper HIAB recommend Crane servicing / inspections should take place from three months depending on usage. Cooper HIAB produce upon servicing / inspections a service report outlining any advisories and repairs that should be undertaken to maintain your HIAB crane.

Breakdown Assistance

Cooper Hiab engineers provide a first class breakdown service.

In the event of any mechanical failure or fault our fully equipped workshops, team of HIAB trained staff and fully loaded fast response HIAB support vehicles are equipped to handle any situation.

Call-in or Call-out

Due to our position in the Heart of the West Midlands, we are able to offer On Site Call Outs, Scheduled Engineer Visits or a Call In facility.

This ensures that our extensive Customer base throughout our area have peace of mind that for any eventualities or breakdowns, help & assistance is always close at hand.

LOLER Certification & Load Testing

We offer Load Testing & LOLER Certification for all types of Cranes, Cable and Hookloaders currently available in the UK.

Our Load Testing is carried out with our Fully Trained & Experienced Engineers using Calibrated & Certified Loading Testing Weights & Equipment.

HIAB Inspections, Maintenance & Servicing

Hiab cranes undergo extensive tests and checks when being serviced with CooperHIAB, Individual checks from subframe, base, outrigger legs and boom section to loader body, hydraulics and electrics to name but a few.

All checks are carried out by fully trained HIAB service engineers.

Our maintenance services are carried out in accordance with HIAB/Multlift Manufacturers Guidelines and the industry standards as laid down by ALLMI.

Servicing and Maintenance of third party cranes.

As well as our HIAB/Multilift Services, we are also able to offer our services for Third Party Manufacturers. This includes Load Testing, Crane Repairers and Parts for all types of Small to Heavy Duty Cranes & Lifters currently available in the UK.

Preventive Maintenance.

Preventive maintenance is a must for the reliable and safe use of load handling products designed to perform in a variety of road and weather conditions.

The Hiab service department has developed a preventive maintenance programme that will keep your Hiab equipment in peak condition to meet all your expectations.

The Preventive Maintenance program is designed to keep the HIAB crane in good working order and ownership costs to a minimum. It is vital that specific tasks listed are carried out correctly.

Approved HIAB Parts

Our Parts Department daily despatch genuine HIAB / Multilift Spare Parts to our Customer’s normally for delivery within 24 Hours from placement of order.

We are also able to use the extensive HIAB UK Service Network for more specialised parts, ensuring that HIAB Customer’s always receive the best service possible.
